Every summer, we look to fill most of our camp counsellor slots with volunteers. These are usually university students who want to volunteer a week or two out of their summer for a unique and rewarding experience having fun with some amazing children. Your students can volunteer for any of the weeks listed (even for multiple weeks). They can apply for that by filling out and submitting an application: DOWNLOAD HERE
What you would be doing
Each week, we bring in 10-14 volunteers who serve as camp counsellors for the campers. These volunteers spend the week onsite having fun with the kids and giving them the best experience possible, responsibilities include:
- Help to lead activities
- Build relationships with the campers
- Supervise and look after the needs of the campers as a part of the team of staff.
- (Note: Experience with kids is an asset but not required)
What we look for
Committed, capable, passionate individuals who put the needs of campers first. People who enjoy collaborating with others and make a positive impact in the lives of our campers. We want you to be engaged and excited about the camp atmosphere which is displayed in the way you focus on delivering the best experience possible for the campers.

What volunteers get out of it
The experience of a lifetime. The campers will expose you to a different perspective and the value of appreciating what you have in life. You will grow as a person and gain skills. You will have just as much fun as the kids in a carefree, welcoming, and relaxing environment. It also great experience to show on applications for graduate school, health professional programs, teaching school, and jobs!
