CAMP TRIUMPH IS 100% FREE - HOLDING DEPOSIT EXPLAINED
A Camp Triumph experience costs more than $700 per camper ($850 for Leadership Campers). With just one full-time employee and one full-time volunteer, our small staff works throughout the off-season applying for grants, hosting fundraisers, and organizing campaigns to ensure all qualifying campers can always attend for free; a cornerstone of Camp Triumph of which we are very proud. With no significant government funding or major sponsors, our capacity is determined by those donations and fundraising dollars. As a registered charity, we welcome and encourage donations of any denomination.
When we accept your camper, we make a firm commitment to you to hold their spot at camp. The refundable, $100 deposit is important and serves as your commitment as we often have to accept other campers who apply later into their second, third, fourth, or potentially turn them away after having held spots for previous applicants. If campers don’t show up, it’s unfortunate for those who were not able to get their first choice of camp session. The deposit amount has not increased since our second year of camp in 2006.
New for 2025, we can no longer accept mailed cheques as a method of holding a camper’s spot. If you are unable to pay the $100 refundable deposit at the time of applying, please contact us at register@camptriumph.ca or 902-303-2909.
Before submitting the application, you have the options to:
Donate the $100 deposit online to hold your campers spot
Pay the refundable $100 deposit online to hold your campers spot
Pay the full amount of $700 via e-transfer
IF:
You donate the $100 deposit, during the application process you will immediately receive a tax receipt via email
You pay the refundable $100 deposit online to hold your campers spot, and your application is subsequently accepted and confirmed, that amount will be refunded to you after your camper arrives at camp for their session.
