CAMPER CODE OF CONDUCT
Camp Triumph has a commitment to providing a valuable, meaningful, and enriching camping experience for all our campers. To assist us in offering the best camp experience we possibly can, please abide by the following camper code of conduct. In order to offer our camps, we must maintain a safe and nurturing environment for everyone.
Respect yourself. Campers are expected, in accordance with their age, to take appropriate care of themselves by maintaining personal hygiene, getting sufficient sleep, dressing appropriately, eating properly, wearing sunscreen, and not taking unnecessary risks.
Respect others. Camp Triumph expect campers to treat one another, our staff, and visitors with courtesy and respect at all times so that everyone feels safe and comfortable.
Respect the environment. Camp Triumph has worked very hard to build and maintain its facility and equipment. It exists for campers to help make the camping experience wonderful. Please respect and take care of the facility and equipment.
Rules of Conduct
Any camper that breaks any of the following rules, will be sent home immediately:
Smoking, alcohol, and illicit drugs are strictly prohibited at Camp Triumph.
Weapons or any implement that our staff deem dangerous or potentially dangerous are strictly prohibited.
Any camper that breaks any of the following rules MAY be sent home based on the seriousness of the incident and the discretion of the Directors:
Inappropriate behaviour, such as bullying, teasing, swearing, verbal harassment, physical harassment, acts of aggression, pranks, practical jokes or disrespect for other people or the environment are not tolerated. Conversations will be had with the camper and all those directly invovled in the incident to determine what action is to be taken to resolve the situation and to ensure it will not reoccur.
Possession and use of cell phones by campers at camp is prohibited.
Stealing or borrowing other people's possessions without their consent will not be tolerated.
Vandalizing, defacing, or damage to camp property and equipment is a serious offence and will not be tolerated. You will be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement, including labour costs.
Male and female campers may not visit each other's cabins at any time. Campers should only be in his/her cabin when instructed to be (i.e. to change between activities/meals and to sleep).
For allergy, equality, health, and food budgeting reasons, campers are NOT permitted to bring snacks and/or candy with them to camp.
The more specific rules of camp will be explained to all campers. These are all necessary for a safe, happy, and fun time for all.
